My personal experience has been centered around family. I have been married to Sara since 1995 and she has given me four chidren that are a source of joy for me everyday.  Mary Blake, William, Gunnar, and Jake are a source of inspiration that drive me to act upon my compulsion to be a leader in this community.  

My professional life has included child advocacy and family law investigations starting in 1993.  I have been fortunate to have learned the real estate business from some of the most dignified and brightest stars of the industry. I have been a real estate broker in Texas and a member of the Austin Board of Realtors for over a decade.  My business has seen the ups of the 90's and the declines of the 00's. In my service to Texas,  I have seen the dark side of poorly run government and the detrimental effects of Federal dependancy. 

My community involvement began while still in school. I worked while in college for the Intercollegiate Athletics Department at The University of Texas as a business office runner and in the Senate chambers as a Messenger for Senate Staff members. I have voted Democratic, Republican, and Independent. Today I volunteer as a coach and enjoy it immensely in the local Youth Baseball association. I have had the pleasure with working with hundreds of children over the past 7 years.  I serve as a commissioner of the league and am at the service of a strong director and experienced Board of community volunteers.

I have followed my instict in choosing  the best course of action  for the state and country depending on the circumstances of Texas,  my family, and our community.  A firm belief that the Democratic party will give our county the best representation in both local, state, and Federal government spurs my motivation and determination to bring a more moderate base into the machinations of the Williamson County Party. I am firm in the reasoning that a more dynamic leadership will be the only successful strategy in winning seats for our party.   

I stay involved with the local party, and I manage my career and two real estate companies. My experience in fundraising, development, and government give me a keen perspective into the nuts and bolts of politics.
